The next installment

I'm sat at work. And I just got a phone call from Jugjit, who is at the minute doing his shift down at the Clinical Library. He just phoned to say 'hi'. But he had to go because he had someone to serve. So he'll phone back 'soon'.

Slightly scared.

I've shown everyone at work my 'date in a box' and they're all creeped out by it. It was probably quite harsh of me to tell everyone, but I feel justified. In that he's the freak for hitting on a girl he knows to be engaged. Moral standards anyone?

So I'm waiting for him to phone and ask me what I thought of the present. And then I'll deliver my crushing blow to his ego and tell him that he smells and that I would never even conceive of getting funky with him. And then I'll laugh malevolently down the phone as he whimpers.

I also realised today that I think of him as a boy, rather than a man. Which doesn't really help him in his efforts to win me over.
