Oh, for crying out loud.

You people have no taste and I will hate you all forever. 

Had a family day on Sunday and went up to my parents' house to look at our niece Reb for a bit and see my mum's dad and his missus. Went out for a meal and could have probably wangled a discount for letting the owner hold the baby and coo at her for a bit. The day degenerated into my brother showing off on Brain Training by prooving that he had superior mental arithmatic to a 64 year old.

Left home expecting this fim to be very very good.

Stood around chatting in the Phoenix expecting this film to be very very good. 

Trundled into the cinema expecting this film to be very very good.

Sat through the trailers expecting this film to be very very good.

Watched the film. Expected it to be very very good, but to be honest I have no idea.

The man with the world's most enormous head was sat right in front of me, obscuring most of the picture and completely obliterating the subtitles. Fantastic. So I can only imagine, really. I'd say it was probably a fabulous, thoroughly entertaining piece of cinema and well worth the five pound ticket. But you should probably ask someone else.

Oh, and if you're looking for somewhere to have a two hour kip, don't pick the Phoenix. My arse went dead after about half an hour.

Clare:  Pan's Labyrinth, Andrew? I'm seeing that tonight.

Andrew: Are you? I've just booked for tomorrow. It's supposed to be really good.

Random Student 1: (Over his shoulder as he walks past the desk) It's very good. I saw it last night.

Random Student 2: (Walking the opposite way) Yeah, it is.

Manager: (Emerging from his office) Is this Pan's Labyrinth? That's supposed to be really good, isn't it?
