I'm round Darren's whiling away my time whilst the boys play on Darren's new PS3.
They may well be highly enamoured of it but, by god, it's ugly. It puts me in mind of a Betamax, so it does.

And yet the betamax was more expensive - £1285 in todays money, so something more 25 years ago when betamax was around.

Yes, it is ugly. And I like the betamax comparison. You can always trust Sony to come up with a superior product yet still manage to turn it into a commercial failure.
